June 8, 2007 Dear Collin Square Homeowners: As we all know the recent storms caused major damage in our area especially to the trees. The City of Allen constructed a special plan with Community Waste Disposal, Inc. (CWD), to help residents get rid of the excess debris. However, this was only for a temporary period of time. That time period has expired. There have been complaints that some homeowners are stilling leaving excess tree debris alongside the common areas. Please be aware that the City of Allen will no longer pick this debris up. In addition, this kind of debris pickup is not part of the HOA’s annual lawn care service contract with TruGreen. If you have left debris on the HOA common areas, please have it removed and disposed of properly. If not, the only fair recourse may be to fine those responsible for the cost to have it removed. The following are some guidelines from the City of Allen regarding trash pick up in our neighborhood. Please take the time to read them. See the full document with City guidelines Property InspectionsIn accordance with the HOA bylaws, covenants, and property deed restrictions, the following major concerns will be addressed: 1) Junk/trash that is clearly visible from the roads/circles. (see city regulations) 2) Tall weeds & grass 3) Houses needing painting, not even color, etc. 4) Fences - Damaged or unsafe fences primarily (visible from the road/circle). Inspections will take place. This allows homeowners a chance to address these concerns..
