MAPSCO The Dallas Ft Worth area is mapped by Mapsco. Most of the pages concerning properties should have a Mapsco # included, (Client Services, database, MLS search). By looking at the Mapsco Grid you can quickly see the area of town the property is located in. A Mapsco # will be a page # and a coordinate (0659 P, 0017 X)[4 digit # + C]. Coordinates run from top left to bottom right. Coordinate "A" is the North West corner of the grid. Coordinate "D" is the North East corner of the grid. "K, L, P, Q is the center of the coordinate grid. Coordinate "W" is the South West corner of the grid. Coordinate "Z" is the South East corner of the grid. Use the Mapsco grid to determine the area of the property in relation to the Dallas area. Mapsco's can be purchased at Wal-Mart, 7-11, and other convenience stores.
